BLW Recruitment Ltd are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily housekeeping operations across one of the Colleges accommodation and conference facilities. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness, manage resources effectively, and support the Accommodation Manager when needed.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
Coach and mentor Supervisors to get the best from their teams.
Manage staffing levels, budgets, and payroll in line with financial targets.
Oversee recruitment, training, and welfare of housekeeping team members.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, holidays, and staff training.
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and compliance training are up to date.
Conduct regular spot checks and audits across College buildings and off-site properties.
Ensure all student accommodation, communal areas, and commercial spaces meet high cleanliness standards.
Attributes & Experience:
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience in a housekeeping management role, ideally in a college, hotel, or similar setting
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
37.5 hours per week, weekends as and when required
