Project Coordinator Location: Office-based in Totton SO40 Salary: D ependent on experience Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week Reporting to: Head of After Sales & Project Management Job Summary Rigging Projects is seeking a highly organised and motivated Project Coordinator with a passion for sailing to join our growing team. This role provides essential support to our Project Managers in delivering complex sailing systems and deck hardware. You'll have a strong administrative background, excellent communication skills, and some familiarity with performance sailing yachts. Comprehensive training will be provided; however, a basic understanding of rigging components, sailing terminology, or yacht systems is advantageous Key Responsibilities Project Administration: Assist with the onboarding of new orders, liaising with the sales team to gather all necessary information and documentation. Assist Project Managers with the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and technical specifications. Track project progress, update internal systems, and prepare regular reports for Project stakeholders. Manage project correspondence, ensuring timely and effective communication between internal teams, clients, and external partners. Production & Delivery: Work closely with the production team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of orders. Track the progress of orders through the production process, identifying and escalating potential delays or issues. Coordinate logistics for the delivery and installation of sailing systems, working with shipping companies and onsite teams. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and installations, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date. Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients on project-related queries, providing updates and responding to requests for information. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Assist with the preparation of client presentations and reports. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and procedures. Contribute to the development and implementation of new tools and systems to enhance project efficiency. Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in an administrative or project support role. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A passion for sailing or a good understanding of sailing yachts is desirable but not essential.
