About the Role The Reporting & Data Analyst will be part of a small team of specialist staff who extract, analyse, evaluate and visualise graduate admission data. You will be involved in gathering requirements and developing reports within PowerBI as well as supporting ad-hoc and freedom of information requests from within and outside the University. The role is also crucial in supporting various graduate access and widening participation initiatives, by extracting, cleaning and transforming data for our operational teams and academic departments. About You We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate: • Experience of reporting on and analysing large data sets • Ability to manage large scale date-related projects and produce accurate and detailed work to tight deadlines• Experience of using data visualisation tools (such as Tableau / PowerBI)• Advanced skills in Excel • An understanding of relational databases, data warehouses and query languages• An ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with staff at all levels of seniority • A commitment to continuous improvement Application Process • A covering letter/supporting statement • Your CV • The details of two referees
