This role is an excellent opportunity to join the Patient Services Team and to develop a role in supervising staff in both the Case Note Store and Clinic Prep. This will offer excellent experience for future career progression in patient administration. The day-to-day management of these two areas will be led by the Medical Records Manager but supported by a Team Leader and Supervisor. The aim of the overall department is to ensure that appropriately prepared case notes are available for all outpatient attendances and for emergency admissions. We are looking for a full-time member of staff.
The main duties of the job are to support the Manager and Team Leader as follows:
* Day-to-day supervision of staff to ensure that all teams are supported in locating, preparing, and providing case notes for all outpatient attendances and emergency admissions.
* Recruitment and selection of new staff
* Ensure induction and training of staff in liaison with departmental trainers.
* Reporting sickness absences and conducting back-to-work interviews.
* Prepare and adapt staff rotas.

Person Specification
Knowledge
* Computer literate with excellent keyboard skills equivalent to RSAII
* Knowledge of 18 week pathways Working knowledge of PAS and the NHS in general
Qualifications
* Good general education including English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent).
* RSAII or equivalent / NVQ Level II Admin or equivalent
* European Computer Driving Licence
Further Training
* Supervisory skills training or willingness to attend European Computer Driving Licence
Experience
* Experience of working within an office environment
* Customer Care
* NHS experience
* Supervisory Experience
Contractual Requirements
* Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
* Good team member
* Diplomatic and tactful.
