We are looking for one fulltime and one part-time experienced Clinical Support Worker to work in our Outpatient Oncology / Haematology Unit at the Judy Beard Day Unit at Conquest Hospital. The unit comprises of 18 treatment chairs/bed: treating, assessing Haematology and Oncology patients receiving Systemic Anti-cancer Treatments and supportive treatments.

The candidate will be someone with experience in a Health or Social Care Environment and it is desirable that you have six months of experience working in the NHS, preferably within the last two years, with a Care Certificate qualification. National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or an acceptable alternative Level 3 Qualification
Your working pattern will be three/four shifts, between the hours of 08:00-18:00 over a six-day period covering Monday-Saturdays.
You will be required to assist the trained SACT nurses to enable and enhance an efficient service delivery. This will include carrying out Aseptic Non-Touch Technique procedures.
We will provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship and clinical supervision on the unit and are committed to professional development of all staff.
Team working is an integral part of this unit with all staff enabled and empowered to make a real difference for their patients.
