Contract: Permanent, full time 39 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced Plumber who can confidently manage teams and oversee maintenance compliance to join our team at HMP Exeter, a category B local adult male prison.

We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor with a combination of:
1. Five years' experience as a plumber or equivalent
2. Familiarity with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
3. Experience working on commercial or industrial heating and water or building services systems
4. Experience of supervising staff
5. C&G 6189 Plumbing and domestic heating
6. C&G 5962 certificate in Plumbing (Advanced craft)
7. C&G 6019 Mechanical Engineering services (plumbing)
8. C&G 6018 heating and ventilation installation
9. C&G 6129 certificate in Plumbing
10. C&G 214 Engineering systems maintenance
11. C&G 6188 Heating and ventilating
12. C&G 6088 certificate in heating and ventilating
13. C&G 6032 the advanced craft certificate in plumbing
14. EAL Diploma in Plumbing and Heating
15. Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification - Desirable
16. Relevant professional qualifications (facilities management/project management) - Desirable
17. Good Health & Safety knowledge
18. Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
