POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Business Analyst at EOS, you will quickly grasp business processes, gather requirements and translate them into a model that will allow the organization to achieve its goals. This position will align with our transformation projects and their impact on the business process, workflows, and data management requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
1. Identify areas for improvement, understand business need, specify requirements and implement recommendations for increasing effectiveness of current processes.
2. Perform analysis and identify areas for improvement in existing CRM, ERP systems and processes and propose innovative solutions.
3. Align closely with Business Operations teams to deliver strategic Transformation projects from a Business Analysis and Data Analysis perspective.
4. Interview product owners and process users to understand as-is business processes and then develop customer-driven to-be processes.
5. Perform root cause analysis of issues or problems, and work closely with business users in order to identify and translate their needs into functional requirement specifications.
6. Assist the business stakeholders in prioritising business requirements and defining new business processes.
7. Produce detailed, high quality and clear documentation - project plans, business requirements, SOPs, workflows etc.
8. Communicate in a clear and concise fashion to IT and business stakeholders at all levels during the project lifecycle to gain commitment and minimize the level of resistance to change.
9. Drive deliverables to completion within challenging timelines ensuring collaboration and effective communication with all stakeholders.
10. Support UAT during all phases of testing to ensure requirements as detailed in the specification document have been delivered and are ready for release.
11. Work with IT & Business when new functionality is released to production to ensure a smooth transition to the new process. Where necessary devise detailed cutover plans to address potential operational impacts at cutover.
12. Liaise between various teams and departments to root causes and solve data issues.
13. Implement identified process improvements.
14. Ensure maintenance of Key Performance Indicator levels and carry out quality performance assessments.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
1. Problem-solving ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
2. Familiarity with IT systems, databases, software development life cycles (SDLC), and business process management tools.
3. Knowledge of process modeling, data modeling (e.g., UML, BPMN), and diagramming tools to communicate requirements visually.
4. Experience working with project managers, developers, business functions, and other team members to deliver project goals.
5. Knowledge of change management and ensuring proper change control processes are followed.
6. Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint and other project tracking software.
7. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for data gathering and analysis.
8. Proficiency in documentation tools such as Lucidchart, and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies and experience working within them.
10. Familiarity with the Scrum framework, including writing user stories, managing product backlogs, and participating in sprint ceremonies.
