Responsibilities:
* Provide outreach tutoring services in English and Maths for GCSE students
* Develop tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs
* Conduct regular assessments to track student progress
* Offer feedback and guidance to students to enhance their understanding and performance
* Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on student development
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Specialism in English and Maths education
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in English and Maths at GCSE level
* Strong understanding of the UK education system
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
* Proficiency in creating engaging and effective lesson plans
* Experience in providing outreach or tutoring services
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, to accommodate student schedules. The work will be carried out in educational institutions, learners' homes, or community centres within the East of England, Essex, Brentwood area.
