An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced, and inspirational midwifery leader to join our team of compassionate, supportive, and dedicated Midwifery and Medical staff at Milton Keynes University Hospital as a Midwifery Matron.

The successful applicant will support the delivery of national and regional safety and quality requirements in addition to ensuring and monitoring a continuous high standard of clinical governance quality improvements within the service.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated midwifery leader who will champion a high level of professional standards and excellence across our maternity services, working to build on the achievements of the service which was rated by the CQC as Good for Safe and Outstanding for Well Led.
The successful candidate will lead the teams with compassion, kindness, lead, and shape outstanding quality care alongside the divisional Multidisciplinary team
The role is responsible for engaging Midwifery, nursing staff and the wider Multidisciplinary team across the division in taking forward the maternity services priorities alongside the Trust wide nursing and midwifery quality improvement initiatives. They will be key in collaborating with the divisional Chief Midwife and the clinical Director to drive quality and safety.
