Working from one of our custom-equipped CCTV vans, you will visit all types of clients - commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, utility, etc. - across the UK. You will carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems, assess pipe conditions, analyze results, and produce high quality reports. All this in conjunction with our Jetting Units when required, therefore you will be responsible for all site activity ensuring the team are working safely and efficiently and ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale.
Your New Job
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Day to day responsibility for site staff and all associated site activity in conjunction with Project Supervisor.
2. Ensure compliance of site staff with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment.
3. Ensure Company policies are always adhered to.
4. Ensure all site related incidents are reported.
5. Work closely with Project Supervisor to ensure work is pre-sited and pre-planned when required.
6. Identify and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate.
7. Responsible for all Jetting & CCTV work completed on site.
8. Responsible for producing high quality results, reports, and feedback.
9. Always establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues and early resolution of any potential problems.
10. You need to be flexible too: we operate 24/7 so there will be early starts, weekend working and an out-of-hours working across the UK.
Desirable Qualifications & Professional Membership(s):
1. Previous experience and/or qualifications within the Utilities and/or Drainage Industry.
2. Full Clean Driving License.
3. Experience.
4. OS19X to current MSCC5 standards.
5. NRSWA.
6. Confined space level 2 and above.
7. High-pressure water jetting.
8. Manual Handling & First Aid at Work.
9. CSCS & Fit to Work.
10. Experience with the following CCTV kit: Mini Cam Proteus, Ipec VC200 and Rover Kit.
11. Personal Track Safety (PTS).
12. Water Hygiene & Reverse Assist.
Desirable Knowledge & Experience:
1. Proven experience within the Utilities Sector - preferably in the Drainage Industry.
2. Proven experience of working in customer service or a customer focused environment.
3. Professional, customer focused with a good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning.
4. Working knowledge of Health and Safety.
5. Knowledge of waste network operations business processes.
6. IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office package.
7. Experience and ability to produce quality reports & feedback in associated systems.
8. Experience and ability to lead by and set an example.
9. Experience in building collaborative relationships with existing and new employees and suppliers.
