Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.
All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
• To work as a member of the Child & Adolescent Mental Health inpatient Service ensuring that a high quality and efficient service is provided at all times, which may include giving support and providing cover in other areas as requested.
• The Administration Assistant / Ward Clerk will ensure the timely and accurate recording of all activity across services using trust information systems.
• The postholder will require a team approach to ensure cover for other CAMHS services if urgently required
JOB SUMMARY
• The service will ensure the timely and accurate recording of all activity across services using Trust information systems.
• To provide administration support to the inpatient clinical team to ensure smooth running of the service and organise ward administration according to service need.
• Post holder will be responsible for maintaining documentation relating to admission and discharge into and out of the unit. Setting up review meetings and ensuring administration is organised ahead of clinical reviews
• Post holders, as appropriate, will be required to provide administration duties on behalf of these services.
• Due to the nature of the role a strong emphasis is placed on safeguarding confidentiality and this forms a pre-requisite for every Administration Assistant / Ward Clerk.
