As a Regional Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing inspirational leadership to our regional Water Supply Production teams, both internal and external provider. You will be managing direct reports of up to 3 Field Performance Managers and Technical Coordinators and indirect reports of up to 40 FTE responsible for water production of circa 200Ml/d within the Kent region.
Your responsibilities will include implementing strategies to mitigate risks on above ground assets managing regional demand positions and ensuring the safe and compliant treatment of water to our diverse customer base. Your role is fundamental to maintain water supply across the area committed to be part of our objectives set in our turnaround plan.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leadership and Collaboration:
* Show leadership in creating and leading business change.

Operational Excellence:
* Develop and deliver a plan for operational excellence in the delivery of frontline water services across a significant geographic area.
* Ensure strategic targets such as value for money, regulatory compliance, excellent customer service, and people development are met.
Key Areas of Ownership:
* Responsible for ODI and regulatory reporting, including Compliance Risk Index (CRI), Event Risk Index (ERI), Outage, Supply Interruptions, and abstraction adherence.
* Direct and indirect line management of field teams for the Operation and Maintenance of Water Supply works.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong operational leadership experience with evidenced management of field-based teams. You will have the ability to motivate and drive high performing team members with a strong customer mindset with your exceptional coaching and mentoring skills. Ideally degree qualified, we welcome applicants with relevant experience of utility, maintenance or operations background (Water Industry would be beneficial & preferred). A confident communicator, you will be liaising with stakeholders at all levels and being involved in media when appropriate. You will bring strong financial acumen and understanding of financial management with good knowledge of supply chain processes.
