Description We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Systems Business Analyst to join our IT team in Stanford-Le-Hope. This function serves as a link between the IT development department and business units in the development, installation, and enhancement of new and current systems. In addition to analysing precise business requirements and process mappings, creating functional designs for use in the development of comprehensive IT solutions to satisfy customer expectations, and producing any necessary communications and presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives. About The Role How will you contribute: To work closely with DP World UK departments translating business requirements into operational system solutions. Maintaining the Business Process Model and all its scenarios. Based on the Business Process Scenario’s, build the relevant test bed. Ensure extensive system testing prior to production. Assisting in setting up operational procedures and training manuals. To provide training to supervisors and key users to play an important role during testing and commissioning. To provide training to the first line support staff and operations users. Minimize customization for systems during the Orientation and Analysis sessions with system suppliers. What will you Bring. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: A computer science, business analyst or other relevant degree would be preferred. Proven experience within a similar role is essential. A proven track record in the Transportation and/or Logistical industry. Knowledge of the Container Terminal Business and of Terminal Operation System Software. Knowledge of Container Terminal Automation an advantage. Good knowledge of the IT systems infrastructure. Experience with business analysis tools such as JIRA, Visio, Confluence, or similar tools. Experience with Business Process Modelling. Experience in complex querying in SQL databases. Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experienced in project management and requirements analysis. Able to devise IT test plans and implement them including training users. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent organisational, prioitisation and Project management skills NOTE: All our roles are subject to the below: Eligibility to work in the UK Ability to travel to our other port when necessary.
