They contribute to the design, development, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of products, equipment, processes, of electric systems or services. Duties typically include: Comply with safety and environmental regulations, building codes, and industry standards, including 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671). Perform electrical installation, verification, maintenance, and testing on various voltages (AC/DC, single/three-phase). Conduct maintenance, inspections, and condition reporting for existing electrical systems as per manufacturer instructions and installation requirements. Install wired and wireless solutions, ensuring compliance with 18th Edition BS 7671 and relevant standards while assessing electrical loads. Install mains-powered life safety systems in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. install electrical connections for heating and cooling systems in different installations. Communicate and collaborate with project teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders while ensuring data security.
