Yeovil College is excited to invite a passionate and customer-oriented Food Court Assistant to join our vibrant team in our onsite restaurant!
In this fast-paced role, you'll work closely with the Kitchen Manager and Deputy, playing a vital part in inspiring and instructing our learners in the production kitchen. You'll have the chance to instruct and mentor learners, helping them develop vital skills for running the Food Hall during college hours whilst supporting the day-to-day preparation and running of the service. Your role will be essential in supervising students and trainees, guiding their growth as they embark on their hospitality careers.
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience within a customer focussed food environment.
* A passion for the hospitality industry.
* Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* The ability to remain calm under pressure.
* An excellent team player.
* Able to work weekdays from 7.00am to 3.00pm.
