Job Title: Junior Land Surveyor

Job Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with early career experience in surveying to grow their skills and develop professionally. As a Junior Land Surveyor, you will assist senior surveyors in conducting site surveys, collecting data, and producing accurate maps and reports. You will gain valuable hands-on experience working on a wide range of exciting projects, from land development to large-scale infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with fieldwork to conduct land, boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
2. Use GPS, total stations, and other surveying instruments to collect accurate data.
3. Assist in setting out and leveling for construction projects.
4. Process survey data and prepare detailed drawings, maps, and reports using CAD software.
5. Support senior surveyors with the preparation of as-built surveys and ensure compliance with project specifications.
6. Ensure that surveying equipment is maintained and calibrated for accuracy.
7. Adhere to health and safety guidelines on-site and ensure best practices are followed.
Key Requirements:
1. Relevant qualifications in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
2. Familiarity with surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and leveling instruments.
3. Basic knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and data processing tools.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
6. Willingness to travel to various sites and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
7. A valid driver’s license is preferred.
