Main duties of the job
Talking Therapies Oldham are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed qualified PWP to join their highly successful and motivated team. For the role, you must have a Diploma/Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological interventions in order to provide high volume, low intensity CBT interventions for people with common mental health problems. Assessments and interventions may be delivered face to face, via the telephone or in groups. Good written and communication skills need to be of a high standard along with the ability to work flexibly.
About us
Talking Therapies Oldham is part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Programme and offers assessment and treatment for people referred via their GP or through a self-referral pathway, with common mental health problems. The service works with adults aged 16 and above, from various cultural backgrounds. The service is made up of a multidisciplinary team, including Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Counsellors, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Primary Care Mental Health Nurses, Psychologists and Admin staff.
