We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Workers who have experience working with children with challenging behaviour. As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and assistance to children. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting individuals in their daily activities, promoting independence and well-being.
2. Assisting with personal care, medication administration, and meal preparation.
3. Implementing behaviour management strategies to address challenging behaviours.
4. Building positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:
1. Experience: Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviour - Essential
2. Must have at least 6 months UK care experience and Right to work in the UK
3. An up-to-date DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service – Should you need to apply for a new DBS we can support you with this.
4. An up-to-date CV with all employment history.
5. To be able to commit to an assignment, to ensure structure and stability for our service users.
6. Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy and understanding approach.
7. Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
