SENIOR CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEERS- AEROSPACE AND DEFENSE:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
A team of six - The oversight requires you to have strong capabilities and leadership, intuitive, instructive to cope with iterative and integrative nature at the early stage of conceptual to a multi-level systems architecture design and validation for a model-Based systems engineering by using complex systems models from ideation. An intuitive, and instructive linear model design activities that defines a deep understanding of a context and structural behaviour for a full project lifecycle, allowing a clear methodic cascading and tracking of requirements to downstream activities, with full control of the interfaces and change impact analyses, fulfilling the stringent quality management requirements.
MANDATE TO COMPLETE: From systems identification to the first principles that governs a robust complex model-Based systems engineering (MBSE) to a robust physics based systems. Areas to cover will include:
* Build a modular Architecture at systems level.
* Use simulation to validate trade-off analysis.
* Traceability from requirements until component level.
* Reduce significantly late corrections cost and better control of project schedule, cost and quality.
* Requirements management, systems Architecture, systems traceability, testing management, simulation driven testing, systems behaviour simulation.
* Generate a functional Architecture from the requirements.
* Ensure that the Architecture you created answers all of the requirements.
* Link all Data generated in the systems architecture to the requirements structure (CONTROLLER_MAIN AND MAIN ASSEMBLY).
* Ensure our processes adhere to standards for secure systems design in conformity to the NIST SP 800-160/NIST SP 800-82.
* This scope includes items that are also within the scope of regulatory oversight regimes and will be addressed through cooperation with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), System Authorization of Control Systems (ATO), Risk Management Framework (RMF) in conformity to DoDI 8510.01, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and in accordance with NIST SP 800-37, (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53.
* System components within the attention will focus on safety and performance (e.g data security, data integrity, edge data privacy and environmental aspects) will contribute to regulatory frameworks.
ENVIRONMENT: This position will operate in the following areas of the organization regulatory engineering division MULTIDOMAIN DEFENCE DOCK:
MULTIDOMAIN DEFENCE DOCK: Standard engineering lab environment.
Employees must be legally authorised to work in the UK. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
QUALIFICATION, KEY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS SET:
* Executive level experience in designing control systems PLC and HMI/SCADA software and making amendments/upgrades to existing system software.
* Degree in Systems Engineering or relevant engineering qualifications within the Control systems engineering or mathematical systems engineering discipline.
* Solid experience of the deployment and maintenance of SCADA, DCS & BMS platforms, PLCs, HMIs, IOMT (internet of military things) architectures and complex virtual networks.
