Location: Office Base is MediaCity, Salford. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office/location working with home working.

We are looking to recruit Production Management Assistants to work on numerous sports and output in our BBC Sport production management team. Depending on the production and sport, this can include working across TV Live output, TV and Digital Highlights output, Radio output and podcasts, Digital content including social media, and our digital and news journalism.
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to a Production Manager, the successful candidate will provide logistical and administration support to a production team on one or more productions and platforms, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
You'll work in partnership with production co-ordinators and other production management assistants, as well as editorial colleagues, to assist administratively in accordance with the demands of an ever-changing broadcasting environment.
The role will be predominantly office based but may involve studio or location work. The Production Management Assistant may be expected to work some weekends depending on the sporting events calendar.
The successful candidate must be able to work well on their own initiative and be confident about when to refer up. The Production Management Assistant will be liaising with a wide range of people involved in the production and must be able to problem solve and communicate effectively. Attention to detail is a must in the production management assistant role as you will be delivering high-quality production planning documents.
Are you the right candidate?
An interest and understanding of the variety of content produced across BBC Sport will be beneficial. You will have a high attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and multi-task. Diary management and experience of working within large teams would also be beneficial. You will have experience of working in production (across TV, Radio, Digital or News).
