The Recruitment Bunker is proud to be working exclusively with the McDermott Group to support their ongoing growth. Due to expansion and the recent win of a significant contract, we are seeking skilled Joiners to join their dynamic team in Scotland.
As a Joiner, you will specialise in crafting and assembling wooden structures and fixtures for buildings. This role requires precision, creativity, and the ability to work with various tools and materials.

* Salary – £37,500 - £41,500
* Holidays: 30 days. Additional days per year of service, maximum of 5. Buy back scheme of additional 5 days

Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
* General joinery work
* Fire door installations and inspections of joinery work completed
* Measure, cut, and assemble wood for building frameworks, doors, windows, and furniture.
* Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Install and repair woodwork as required
* Collaborate with other trades to complete construction projects
* Maintain tools and ensure a safe working environment
Essential Skills
* Experience of working as a Joiner demonstrating craftmanship and hold relevant qualifications
* Qualified to SVQ level 3 or above
* Certified Fire door inspector
* 1st and 2nd fix joinery experience
* Expertise in using hand and power tools
* Precision and attention to detail
* Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing time effectively
* Clean Full UK driving license
* Clear Disclosure Scotland Check
Desirable Skills
* Fire Door Installation: knowledge and experience
