Job Description
WJ are currently looking for a HGV Welder / Fabricator who can join our team in Elland. Responsibilities include working to designs / specifications, fabricating and building to our specific vehicle types and the various uses of our HGVs.
What you will do:
Contribute to the initial layout and fabrication of specialised road marking equipment mounted on HGV Chassis
Future design and development of vehicles and other road marking equipment
Routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
Be involved in final post paint assembly of equipment
Qualifications
What will you bring to the team?
Self-motivated and self-starter
A good timekeeper
A good understanding of plant and vehicle systems is preferred
Must have demonstrable experience in manufacturing and HGV engineering/fitting
Be a good team player
Flexible to carry out other duties as required
Good practical ability working to high standard for new installations
UK Driving Licence (HGV not essential but preferred)

Working Hours
Working hours are 8am to 5pm with overtime available and required occasionally depending on current workloads and targets.

£35,000 - £40,000 starting salary depending on experience + overtime available.
