Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and supporting children's development. Duties Assist in creating a safe and stimulating environment for children in the nursery Support the nursery staff in implementing educational activities and daily routines Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues Manage children's basic needs, including feeding and nappy changing Drive safeguarding practices to ensure the well-being of all children Skills Experience working with young children in a childcare setting Strong communication skills in English Knowledge of early childhood education principles Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities when working with children A caring and patient approach to nurturing children's growth Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year Benefits: Canteen Company pension Flextime Life insurance On-site parking Sick pay Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Expected start date: 01/05/2025
