About the Role: As the Employee Relations Coordinator you will be supporting employees and managers across all of the Lanes Group companies. This role involves managing and resolving employee issues, ensuring compliance with company policies, and promoting effective communication between staff and management. Location: Split between Bamber Bridge and Eccles Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 Hours per week. Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 Responsibilities – but not limited to: Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee relations issues in line with UK employment law and company policies. Assist in the resolution of employee grievances, disciplinaries, and performance-related matters. Assist with investigations into employee grievances, misconduct, or complaints in accordance with UK disciplinary and grievance procedures. Support mediation efforts between employees and management to resolve conflict effectively and maintain workplace harmony. Maintain accurate, confidential records of employee relations issues, investigations, and resolutions in compliance with UK GDPR guidelines. Prepare reports for HR management on trends related to employee relations cases. Support the development and delivery of training for managers and employees on employee relations topics such as grievance handling, absence management, and disciplinary Assist with internal HR audits and ensure that the company is compliant with UK employment law and best practices in employee relations. Review exit interviews, analyse feedback, and report on trends to support retention strategies and improve employee relations. Ensure the consistent application of company policies, procedures, and UK employment regulations such as the Employment Rights Act, Equality Act, and GDPR Keep updated on changes to employment law and provide advice on implications for company policies.
