Regional Product Manager - EMEA (Oxford)

Aurora's Software Solutions team is building the global investment analytics platform for the energy transition. It is a seamlessly integrated suite of software products allowing our users to value and benchmark any asset or portfolio, under any business model and market scenario, anywhere in the world. Widely adopted by leading energy companies and investors, the platform facilitates the energy transition by helping optimize capital deployment decisions in renewables and storage, globally.
We are currently looking for an entrepreneurial leader to take charge of the EMEA part of our software platform. As the Regional Product Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the EMEA software product strategy and driving its execution. You will understand the needs of our external and internal software customers in EMEA, and closely engage with our technical teams to design and deliver solutions that meet them. You will build and lead a highly effective team.
Key Responsibilities
* You will play a key role in defining the vision and strategy for our software platform in the EMEA markets.
* You will build and maintain the regional roadmap for all EMEA software products making key decisions on feature prioritisation, in line with product vision and strategy.
* You will own and manage a structured backlog of user needs and feature ideas.
* You will define requirements for UI and modelling features of our EMEA software, and you will work with local and central technical teams to design solutions meeting these requirements.
* You will play a leading role in a cross-functional team of highly skilled software engineers, product managers, modellers, research analysts, commercial and customer success representatives in continuous product delivery.
* You will develop and manage client relationships, develop in-depth understanding of client requirements, and manage user feedback.
* You will build and manage the EMEA software product team, fostering positive working culture and providing mentorship and development opportunities for the team.
What we are looking for
Required attributes:
* Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience at a major consultancy, energy company, software company, financial services company, or other knowledge-focused firm or institution.
* Proven track record of successfully managing large complex projects or products that require significant cross-functional coordination.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Good understanding of energy markets.
* Results-driven, with a high degree of persistence in reaching goals and a hands-on approach to ensuring targets are achieved.
Desirable attributes:
* Good understanding of power market models.
* Track record of building and leading successful teams.
