Job Summary
Envika Consultancy Ltd is a technology-driven private company founded in July 2008 providing bespoke engineering expertise and associated services, focusing on Information Technology and consultancy services.
We are looking for a Software Analyst Programmer to join our team in building scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will be responsible for development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Design and develop high-volume, low-latency messaging platform for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
* Develop data-centric algorithms and architect large scale data pipelines.
* Working with advanced technologies such as AI-driven bots, you will automate workflows.
* Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
* Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
* Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Essential Requirements:
* Extensive experience in core Java (at least Java 6), Java/J2EE, Multi-threading, Spring, Hibernate, SOAP/REST Web Services.
* Experience in Scala and understanding of Akka.
* Good knowledge of database and PL/SQL.
* A proven track record with a J2EE compliant application server like Weblogic Application Server.
* Experience in application development, including analysing stories, writing code, implementing automated tests, contributing to release, and developing the working practices of the team.
* Experience of Agile team working and globally deployed applications working across a Wide Area Network.
Desirable Requirements:
* Hadoop, understanding of Big Data.
* Knowledge of Maven, CVS.
* XML processing, Schema validation.
Qualifications and Skills
Desirable qualifications:
* Degree level qualification in Computer Science.
* Oracle Java SE 8 Programmer certification.
