Finegreen are currently supporting a large NHS organisation in the appointment of an experienced HR/People Advisor.
It is envisaged that this role is a rotational role between ER Case Work and Workforce Projects and this will be determined on the needs of each service as they occur.
Key responsibilities will include:
Facilitate the effective resolution of employee relations matters including grievance/dignity at work, disciplinary, capability, and absence management;
Required to conduct formal investigations to ensure the correct evidence is available for disciplinary and tribunal hearings, presenting information as and where appropriate;
Provide operational workforce support including advice on policy, practice, employment law, NHS terms and conditions, responding to changes in employment law, process and practice as they arise;
Provide workforce reports and updates on performance against Trust Workforce Key Performance Indicators and identify trends or areas of concern so that improvement plans can be developed where required across priority areas;
Promote good working relationships with key stakeholders including local trade union /employee representatives in order to promote effective partnership working on all elements of employment relations matters;
Support the Trust’s Job Evaluation Team and advise on the Trust’s Job Evaluation Scheme, grading appeals and disputes as and when required;
The ideal candidate will have:
Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience; CIPD qualified or working towards level 7;
Proven track record of providing operational Workforce advice in a progressive Workforce function within a large NHS organisation;
Experience in providing advice and recommendations to managers on employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance;
Experience supporting with investigations, including comprehensive report writing;
Significant career background demonstrated on their CV of working within a similar role within the NHS or wider public sector;
