We are an international community organization committed to improving the quality of life for Black and minority ethnic (BME) communities in the UK. Our mission is to promote community cohesion, intercultural understanding, and equal access to essential information and services for those who need it most.
Role Overview
As a Student Volunteer Ambassador, you will play a vital role in connecting your university with our organization to help organize and promote volunteer events. You will be the bridge between our mission and the student community, helping to inspire and mobilize others to take action and make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the primary point of contact between us and your university.
2. Organize, promote, and coordinate volunteer events on campus and in the local community.
3. Engage with students and encourage them to participate in our initiatives.
4. Represent our organization at events, fairs, and meetings to raise awareness of our mission.
5. Collaborate with our team to ensure successful planning and execution of volunteer activities.
What We’re Looking For
1. A self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
2. Someone passionate about promoting equality, diversity, and community development.
3. A proactive problem solver with a positive, “get-go” attitude.
4. A team player who is comfortable engaging with people from diverse backgrounds.
5. Previous volunteering experience is a plus but not essential as training will be provided.
