Our client is a leading Project Engineering Consultancy. They operate mostly within the automotive sector, installing fully automated robotic systems for major clients. They are looking for a Project Engineer that wants to develop their career down the route of working with automation, controls & robotics.
Role & Responsibilities:
Oversee the contracts from start, design, manufacture, and final install
Contracts range from a simple fixture to a fully automated robotic systems
Supply into mostly automotive companies, such as JLR, McLaren, Aston Martin, Bentley
Customer interface
Manage the contract budgets, program timing, and internal resources & suppliers
Read and understand technical drawings (mechanical)
Travel is required to meet with customers throughout the UK
Working closely with design and production teams
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings (mechanical)
Understanding of business finance
Project Management experience
CAD experience would be advantageous
Open on junior and senior levels
Ideally qualified to HNC/ HND in engineering
Must have access to own vehicle and willing to travel to meet with customers when needed
