We are currently seeking a talented User Researcher to join a leading consultancy and contribute to high-profile projects within the public sector. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design and Government Digital Service (GDS) principles, as well as an active SC Clearance. What You’ll Do Conducting user research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and workshops. Synthesizing findings into user journey maps, personas, and process improvements. Collaborating with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure user needs are at the forefront of service design. Preparing and delivering research outputs to meet GDS assessment requirements. Supporting the development of user-centered strategies and contributing to the overall success of agile project teams. What You’ll Need SC Clearance: Essential for this role; applicants must meet the eligibility requirements. Experience: 2-5 years in user research, ideally within public sector projects. GDS Expertise: Proven knowledge of GDS principles and practical application in service design. Experience in creating user journey maps, process maps, and actionable insights. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively. A track record of working within agile delivery environments.
