Are you a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Look no further! Our clients are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at their manufacturing plant.
As an electrical maintenance engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. You will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing, and repairing and performing reactive breakdown repairs and modifications.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer key responsibilities:
* To attend breakdowns and assist the mechanical teams, being able to respond and act upon the fault report system.
* Work closely with the maintenance & production teams to minimise downtime. To support improvement tasks to increase plant performance.
* To be able to carry out preventative and planned maintenance, keeping the applicable system up to date
* The ability to fault find and test semi & fully automated equipment.,
* Be actively involved in maintaining and improving department and site housekeeping standards
* Ability to read and interrogate PLC data to diagnose solutions
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
* Recognised electrical trade qualification essential
* ONC/HNC/HND/Degree in appropriate electrical subject
* Experience of Allen Bradley PLC systems desirable
* Knowledge of ASI bus and safety systems
* Knowledge of Piranha PPM system desirable
* IOSH safety qualification desirable
