We are seeking a clinician with expertise in respiratory health to be a clinical role model for undergraduate medical students within the KMMS undergraduate programme and act as a key supporter of the Module Leads, particularly for the modules in years 1 and 2. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team of medical educators working to establish and deliver an innovative and integrated undergraduate medical curriculum across all years of the programme.
The role is available on a part-time basis of 0.2 FTE.
As Associate Lecturer, you can expect to be involved in:
* developing and delivering teaching materials in a variety of settings from small tutorial groups to large lectures
* delivering learning opportunities either across a range of modules or within a subject area
* participating in relevant assessment activity, including marking, standard setting processes, providing feedback to students, academic remediation and resit assessments
What will you bring to the role?
* clinical registration with the GMC and current licence to practice
* an advanced knowledge of the relevant subject area to effectively deliver teaching within the BM BS programme
* experience of successfully teaching healthcare students in a university or clinical environment to undergraduate degree or at postgraduate level
* excellent interpersonal and communication skills
