Morrison Water Services are recruiting for a Street Works Coordinator to work on our Caledonia Water Alliance contract.
As a Street Works Coordinator your duties and responsibilities will include:
* Supporting Site Team in all aspects of scheduling works – review and understand route of design/construction drawings and converting programme into street works noticing and interrogating – SRWR (Scottish Road Works Register) to ensure free road space for works.
* Providing accurate data input updates for Street Works Notice maintenance. Advance Notice through to Registration Notice using bespoke system (SRWR – Scottish Road Works Register).
* Produce, review and understand daily Jeopardy Reporting to ensure compliance with NRSWA and avoidance of any penalty notices.
* Proactively monitor live street works to ensure system updates within statutory timescales.
* Confident communication with internal and external parties for updates on street works.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
* Confident Administrator
* Current driving licence – not essential
* Appropriate level of IT skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
* Good level of written and oral communication and influencing skills (to communicate at all levels both within and outwith the business)
You would be required to take responsibility for the management of all Street Works Notices required to allow CWA to carry out any works on the Public Highway. Training will be given to suitable candidates.
This role is office based and the location is in Stepps.
