Job Role: Export Sales & Business Development Manager (UK Department Stores & Continental Europe Market)
Job Summary
We’re looking for a results-driven Export Sales & Business Development Manager to lead Ajmal Perfumes’ growth in the UK and Continental Europe. This role focuses on driving sales, building brand presence, and managing relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong sales acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in the fragrance or luxury goods industry.

Key Responsibilities
To establish brand “AJMAL” in UK & European Department Stores
New Business Development
* Research and identify potential UK department stores and European markets, highlighting untapped opportunities.
* Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, increase turnover, and achieve targets.
* Conduct market surveys, lead generation, and identify new market segments and potential distributors.
* Appoint distributors in line with company policies.
Sales Target Achievement
* Achieve 100% sales targets within the assigned European territory.
* Maximise brand visibility and ensure relevant product listings in retail chains.
* Monitor market trends and provide feedback for new product development.
* Build brand equity and maintain regular engagement with distributors to meet goals.
Customer Relationship & Compliance
* Resolve client queries promptly to enhance satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
* Expand business through effective channel partner and distribution network management.
* Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation across European markets.
* Train and support partners to meet revenue and business objectives.
Requirements
* Graduate/Postgraduate (European national) with 4–6 years of experience in export sales and business development.
* Proven sales success in fragrances or luxury goods, with business travel experience across Europe.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and market development skills.
* Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies and competitive positioning.
