ASR Group is the world’s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, with an annual production capacity of more than 6 million tons of sugar. The company produces a full line of grocery, industrial, food service and specialty sweetener products.
Home Based: 2-3x a month in London and ad hoc customer meetings.
We are seeking a National Account Manager to join the team to manage three of our Major Retail customers, including Sainsburys which is our 2nd largest account. This will be across both Branded & Private Label products.
The position will focus on growing these accounts further through increased market share and with new product development. There are exciting opportunities within our home baking and syrups ranges.
You’ll also have the opportunity to be part of conversations surrounding sustainability and fair trade with Senior Buyers.
The Role:
* P&L responsibility to manage & grow Sainsburys, Co-Op and Iceland
* To achieve as a minimum the annual sales plan KPI’s of volume, price, CTO and product mix.
* Conduct sales negotiations with customers having responsibility for agreeing planned volume, price targets etc.
* Identify and evaluate new business opportunities
* Develop and implement a jointly agreed business plan with key customers
The Person
* Proven track record of growing and delivering on Major Retail customers
* Preferably a “commodity” type product experience
* Branded & Own Label product experience
* Autonomous, flexible and driven
* Strategic Thinker combined with Analytical capability
