STIHL GB is a sales and marketing subsidiary, with a new and impressive Head Office and Distribution Centre based in Camberley, Surrey.
About our opportunity
The purpose of the role is to regularly visit STIHL dealers and drive sales in line with Company targets.
Responsibilities include:
* Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to deliver revenue, achieve sales targets, and grow market share
* Develop new and existing accounts and identify new business opportunities
* Develop standards in the territory to ensure STIHL product knowledge, showroom displays and stocking range
* Develop strong long-term profitable business partnerships with dealers
* Negotiate trading terms and drive promotions to achieve targets
Requirements for this role
We are looking for an experienced and high calibre sales professional with the communication skills and commercial ability to represent the STIHL brand. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
* A talent for sales, including a proven track-record in achieving sales targets
* Commercial acumen, combined with strong influencing and negotiation skills
* An ability to build strong working relationships and deliver results
* A self-starter with the motivation and drive to operate effectively in a field-based role
* Microsoft Office and one CRM skills
* Based in the North West with a full driving licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory, including nights away
