What will I be doing?
• Processing of production components through the Surface Finishes department which
include Cadmium, Chrome, Nickel and Zinc/Nickel.
• Other activities will be included with these processes which will include oven work and
passivate of cadmium.
• Measuring both unplated and plated components using micrometers, calipers and
permascopes will be integral in all processes.
• Chemical additions to processing vats as and when required.
• Support continuous improvement activities

Job Requirements
What do you need from me?
Ideally, you will have served a processing apprenticeship or have experience in chrome,
cadmium, nickel and zinc/nickel and their associated activities.
You will also be competent in the use of measuring equipment and be able to read and
understand technical drawings.
Other key competencies you will need to perform this role are:
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong team working ethics
• Self-managed and reliant with good problem solving skills.
• Good problem solving skills to diagnose equipment or tool malfunctions and to determine
need for adjustment or repairs.
• Participation in continuous improvement activities to improve operational processes and
