We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Night Nurse at HMP Isle of Wight to join our team. HMP Isle of Wight is a category B male training prison located 8 minutes from St Mary's Hospital and 26 minutes from Cowes Ferry Terminal.
This position is full time (37.5 hours a week) and you'll receive an annual salary up to £49,585 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
Golden Hello: £3,000 (£1,000 in 6 months of service, £1,000 after 12 months, and £1,000 after 24 months of service - conditions apply).

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis, and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse (Adult), you'll be an integral part of the healthcare team at HMP Isle of Wight by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in:
* Developing and leading clinics
* Undertaking examinations and tests, as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency
* Working within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions
What we'll look for in you
You will be a Registered Nurse (Adult), NMC qualified, and will have evidence of continued professional development throughout your clinical career. An understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working, coupled with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach will enable you to succeed in this role, along with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
