In this role you will be responsible for delivering high quality, robust and transparent decision making on matters relating to the monitoring and delivery Section 106 Legal Agreements and ultimately as we continue work toward adopting our Community Infrastructure Levy Charging Schedule the administration of CIL; to ensure that Planning and Development Services is recognised as delivering an excellent planning service for its customers.
You will provide day to day management of Section 106 legal agreements to ensure that provisions within them are enacted at the correct time. You will also administer incoming funding contributions and their associated allocation and spending, liaising with the spending services across the organisation.
Utilising business systems including Exacom and Uniform the role includes developing, monitoring and maintaining data systems required to collect and monitor planning obligations. You will be required to analyse, interpret and present this data. Preparing reports, letters and evidence to agreed timescales to meet statutory requirements, assisting with the preparation of Freedom of Information Requests, Environmental Information Regulations and Subject Access Requests.
The monitoring of Planning Obligations is vital to ensuring the managed and sustainable growth of our city. The work will involve sites such as York Central and other strategic sites across the city. You will provide professional advice on Section 106 Agreements and CIL acting as a point of contact for stakeholders.
