As a result of our clients' expansion plans and continued ongoing success, we are seeking a dynamic Sales and Operations Assistant to be based at a busy Head Office in Plymouth.
About the Role: As part of a busy department, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to help support Head Office and Stores. No day is the same – typical duties include:
1. Data Collection and Entry across the department
2. Operational Support for stores and head office departments
3. Providing 1st line support for store retail queries – answering enquiries wherever possible and directing stores to the correct department where necessary.
4. Assisting with employee travel requirements
5. Creating and administrating users on in-house systems
6. Creation and administration of staff discount cards
7. Administration of In-house Task Management system
8. Creation and administration of training documents
9. Recording Health & Safety reports
10. Creating and communicating various reports
11. Assisting with HR enquiries from Head Office and store staff
12. Assisting with recruitment for new store openings.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. A background and/or detailed understanding of retail administration is advantageous
2. High degree of accuracy is essential
3. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask
4. Can work to deadlines and manage competing demands from various stakeholders.
5. A true team player underpinned with great communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to build relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
7. Excellent IT skills, particularly in relation to the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Full-time hours Mon - Fri - Flexi time 38.75 hours per week.
