Job description Site Name: Belgium-Wavre, Italy - Rosia, Siena, Ware Posted Date: Jan 15 2025 About the role This position is part of a global team of multi-disciplinary global analytical experts, located at different sites across the GSC network. The position is responsible for analytical technical standards applied to legacy, next generation and new products that cover methods validation and instrument validation and analytical technology transfer and other analytical processes within the GSK Global Supply Chain portfolio, both internal and external supply chains. Job Purpose Working within a group of subject matter experts, operating across all GSC Supply Chains and supporting the central and site Quality Control teams. Accountable for the development, deployment and ongoing management of key analytical standards required to ensure the success and compliance of the QC teams. This involves partnership with other functions across GSC such as Site Quality, Central Quality, MSAT and R&D Ensuring risks are managed through establishment and continuous improvement of analytical standards. About the responsibilities Be a member of a team of Global Quality Control SME’s to ensure the necessary technical standards are in place and in use to ensure the success of the Quality Control teams. This covers standards in Analytical Technical Transfer, Analytical Method & Equipment Validation, and standards on specific techniques or analytical processes. Provide support for major changes, analytical technical transfer process, validation and verification efforts to and/or from the specific site or network of sites. Partner with the MSAT, R&D and Quality teams to ensure alignment with our key standards in Analytical Validation and Analytical Lifecycle Management. Be accountable for development and ongoing management of analytical technical standards. Be accountable for change management, capability build, aligned SMEs and feedback loop for the standards across the Sites and Quality teams. Ensuring site capability is maintained. Be accountable for the content and alignment to the legislation, supporting sites during inspections and support issue resolution. Support and drive rapid resolution of technical issues escalated from the site-based teams or from one of the Quality groups which have a direct connection to one of our technical standards Work with Global and Regional / Local Regulatory to understand, translate and apply local regulations, being conversant with statutory obligations and GSK procedures for all regulatory requirements in analytical controls. Motivate, focus and develop self and others, driving continuous improvement and inclusivity to ensure quality control excellence.
