Primarily this role is to focus on our Outpatient Reception Basingstoke & Front of House service. Making sure there is adequate cover for our Front of house service for both Winchester and Basingstoke site.
The Outpatient Reception role, the role will require the management of booking appointments requested via E-Outcome, managing incomplete outcomes, and cashing up of clinics for the day, linking with other departments when queries arise and handling email enquiries/requests.
You will also be required to support in managing Bookwise the Outpatient room booking system and liaising with the Sister of outpatients to manage the requests.
As outpatient Supervisor based at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, the post holder will oversee the Daily running of our outpatient Reception service across both Basingstoke and Alton Site, Our Front of house services both sites (RHCH & BNH) and Volunteers for our Reception areas.
You will ensure that a consistently high-quality service is provided to our patients, Visitors, and clinical staff, in addition to working as part of the reception team when required.
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital services to a population of around 600,000 patients in Hampshire. These services are delivered across multiple locations including its own hospitals, Andover War Memorial Hospital, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital and Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester. Each hospital has its own Outpatient Department and, in addition, outpatient and assessment services are provided at Alton community hospital.
