IT Technician


We are seeking a highly motivated IT Technician to join a dynamic IT team. The organization is recognized for its innovative technology solutions, offering network infrastructure and associated applications that optimize existing networks.

The position is based in Gloucester. Working hours are 37 hours per week, Monday-Thursday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and Friday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM), with a 1-hour lunch break. Applicants must be eligible for UKSC and NPPV3 security clearances.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the first point of contact for technical issues, managing troubleshooting efforts and ensuring fast solutions (after training).
2. Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including IT setup for new starters and offboarding activities.
3. Support employees with technology issues, hardware and software upgrades, and office equipment replacements.
4. Maintain IT documentation by tracking tasks through a ticketing system, developing user guides, and updating troubleshooting documents.
