Reference 81845 Support Worker - Fixed Term Maternity Cover from January 2025 Oaklands Village, Swadlincote £10,025.60 Per annum 16 hours per week About the role To provide person centred support to customers at Oakland Village, reporting any safeguarding concerns in line with policy and procedure. To support customers with life skills and empower them to make a positive contribution to society and become self-sufficient; this includes recording case studies that reflect achievements of outcomes. Key Responsibilities; Proactively approach the promotion of traditional values, demonstrating pride in the work and service delivery. To ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of vulnerable adults, young people and children in line with Safeguarding regulations. Attending all training courses and delivering on the outcomes. Providing a flexible, responsive service which operates in a timely and person-centred manner Signposting customers to relevant sources of information, support, guidance and advice Effectively working in partnership with external agencies for the benefit of customers Completing and following clear risk assessments, and adhering to the organisations Health and Safety Policy Completing and maintaining accurate records in line with the requirements (including detailed support plans, risk assessments and regular checks) Ensuring all service delivery is non-judgemental and is delivered in line with equality and diversity requirements To ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of vulnerable adults, young people and children in line with Safeguarding regulations.
