What you’ll do at Elekta
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have a strong affinity for automation.
Your primary focus will be DevOps and the automation of the team’s processes, including the CI/CD pipelines. You will also work with the team to further develop our test automation and have the opportunity to contribute to the product development.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
1. Build and maintain DevOps capabilities to support the Agile development team.
2. Establish and track metrics to assess CI/CD pipeline health and performance.
3. Continuously improve quality tools and methods, while automating processes.
4. Demonstrate expert software engineering skills throughout the development life cycle.
5. Be accountable for the software you ship and for the overall success of the team.
6. Be part of a learning organization, always open to test new ideas.
7. Be part of a product scrum team with shared objectives and ready to help each other.
8. Additional roles and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM.
7 years of DevOps and software engineering experience or 5 years with an advanced degree.
Experience with either Java or C#/.NET Core.
Fluent in English with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Additional qualifications to set yourself apart
Graduate degree in Computer Science or similar technical field.
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines as well as any of the following tools: PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager Templates, Azure VMs, WinRM, and AutoIt.
Experience with any of the following: Angular, microservice architecture, REST APIs, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud technology, and databases such as SQLsrv or PostgreSQL.
Experience with test automation, and automation frameworks such as Cypress.
Experience working in a Scrum team using Agile methodologies.
Strong quality culture, ethical standards, values, and good judgement.
Critical thinking with ability to provide feedback and formulate improvement plans.
Ability to explain complex technical problems to non-technical audiences.
