PAY RATE:
* £12.40ph
* OT above 37.5h £18.60ph
* Sunday £22.80ph
WORKING DAYS: Monday - Friday; overtimes available at weekends
WORKING HOURS: 07:00-15:00 with plans to go on shifts - morning/afternoon shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Producing timber frame panels for house building in accordance with production schedules. Working within various workstations, handling the timber frame from delivery to finished product.
* Cutting materials, inserting thermal insulation, stapling, inserting lifting straps, fitting
* Operating on a semi-automated manufacturing line, producing open panel timber frame wall units’ plasterboard, and wrapping finished products for transportation.
* Using hand tools and power tools (nail gun, drill, hammer, using tape measure)
* Assembling wooden frames following the technical drawings
* Quality check of the products
* Rotating across various departments to gain new knowledge and skills.
* Adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies.
MUST HAVE:
* Own transport
* Good level of English
* Preferably with experience in the timber frame industry
* Willingness to learn and work within any stage of the production line is essential
* Flexibilities
* Ability to work under your own initiative and take instruction from Supervisor to complete all reasonable tasks as required

* First day Health and Safety induction training provided by client site management. Forklift Accidents: Collisions with other vehicles, pedestrians, or stationary objects can occur, leading to injuries or damage to goods.
* Falls and Trips: Slippery or cluttered floors, uneven surfaces, or improperly stacked goods can contribute to falls and trips.
* Manual Handling: Lifting, carrying, or moving heavy objects manually can lead to injuries, if proper lifting techniques are not followed.
* At the factory there might be a risk of noise - ear protectors are provided.
* Risk of injuries due to use of power tools and machinery.
