Job summary
Opportunity to join a small, loyal team working across two GP sites in the lovely towns of South Shields & Jarrow.
This new role combines high end administrative duties in conjunction with basic clinical skills and prospective certified learning as a GPA.
We are looking to fill FT in range of 37hrs per week.
Main duties of the job
This is a new role at increased hours, being introduced to the surgery with the aim of utilising a number of high end skills and experience to further aid the patient path through our service and support the management team in the volume of behind scenes administrative and auditing work.
There is a requirement for some basic clinical skills to meet the wider remit of this role, along with set training and assessment process in recognised GPA training certification.

About us
2 Partners, 1 x salaried GP, 2 long-term locum GP's, ACP,1 HCA, Practice Manager, APM, Administrator and 7 non-clinical. We have just shy of 6000K patients. We aim to give the best care and service possible to our patients. Staff opinion and suggestions are part of our regular interactions and meetings and we take on board work/life balance to make everyone's working day as pleasant as able.
We are a training practice, currently giving educational encouragement to an ST1, as well as involvement with student placements in medicine and pharmaceutical.
We are shortly to welcome a part time GPA and are currently also recruiting for another ACP and a Practice Nurse, to further compliment and extend our team.
