Our client is looking to recruit Factory Manager to manage and develop one of their UK manufacturing sites near Chesterfield. This is a single site role but some travel may be required for off site meetings. The FactoryManager will be accountablefor all day-to-day site-based activities including Production, Warehousing and Engineering. The Factory Manager must lead by example, strive for results, challenge the status quo and improve best practice. Key aspects of the role include:- Overall management of operational KPIs on site. Drive and maintain a proactive culture of continuous improvements & best practice. Identify KPI improvements and cost savings initiatives. Reinforce company leadership values. Develop departmental strategies. Coach and develop across functional team. Provide & share regular updates to the companies management team. Oversee and develop aneffective organisational structure. Establish good collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders With a headcount of around 100 staff, our client is looking to recruit a results driven plant manager with demonstrable experience in driving teams, implementing improvements and delivering targets. Experience required:- Previous experience of managing multi disciplined teams within a manufacturing environment (5 years) Experience of managing complex manufacturing environments.
