Are you looking for a new challenging but rewarding role? We are supporting our client in recruiting a Behaviour Support Officer, this is temp to perm 35.5 hours per week, term time. The Behaviour Support Officer will play a vital role in supporting student behaviour and wellbeing within the school environment. This role combines overseeing the internal isolation room, supporting after-school detentions, conducting behaviour-related investigations and analysing behaviour data to identify patterns and trends to ensure appropriate interventions can be implemented. Internal Isolation Room: Manage the day-to-day operation of the internal isolation room Monitor students work completion Behaviour Support & Mentoring: Act as a behaviour lead for students Develop Pastoral Support Plans for students. Establish positive relationships with students to encourage self-reflection and personal growth. Behavioural Data Analysis: Regularly review and analyse behaviour data to identify trends Collaborate with middle and senior leaders to devise and implement strategies Report on behaviour trends and provide data-driven recommendations Reflection Room Support: Assist the Reflection Room Manager (when required) in supervising students sent to the reflection room Help students understand the impact of their behaviour and encourage a restorative approach. Supervision and Detention Support: Supervise and administer after-school detentions Ensure students complete work Communicate detention outcomes and discuss behaviour improvement strategies Behaviour Support Officer Details Location: Taunton with car parking Hours: 35.5 hours per weeks, Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 16.05pm - 38 weeks term time only Salary: £13.05 - £14.13ph depending on experience plus holiday pay Grade 13, GBP25,183 - GBP27,269 (FTE), GBP20,160 - GBP21,830 (Actual) Type: Temp - Perm
