Sales Manager - Logistics
Location: Chelmsford (Office-Based with Field Travel)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
Salary: £40k - £45k Base + Lucrative Commission
Benefits: Car Allowance, Laptop
Holidays: 20 days (excluding bank holidays), plus 1 extra day per year after the first full year of employment, up to a maximum of 25 days.

Hawkes Resourcing Group are recruiting for an ambitious Sales Manager to drive business growth, develop client relationships, and expand our market presence. This role requires a proactive sales approach, both in the office and in the field, engaging with potential and existing clients to provide top-tier logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build, develop, and manage a client portfolio, fostering long-term relationships.
2. Identify and secure new business opportunities through lead generation, outreach, and in-person meetings.
3. Present our logistics services to potential clients, demonstrating value and securing long-term contracts.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
5. Maintain detailed sales records in the CRM system, tracking performance and pipelines.
6. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
What We are Looking For
1. Proven experience in sales, ideally within logistics, transport, or a similar fast-paced environment.
2. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
3. Proficiency in CRM software for managing client data and tracking sales performance.
4. Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to market shifts.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
7. Strong numerical, literacy, and communication skills.
